Myung-Sook Lee was born in Korea and received her early musical training at Seoul Music and Art High School and Ewha Women’s University. She later studied in the United States with Daniel Pollack at the University of Southern California. She received her master’s degree in Music from Northwestern University, where she studied with Donald Isaak. She was a pupil of Seymour Bernstein at New York University (NYU), where she received her Ph.D. in Piano Performance. Ms. Lee was adjunct professor at NYU until she moved to Germany, where she engaged in private study with Andreas Meyer-Herrmann at the Musikhochschule, Frankfurt.
